Guy's I'm at the office, just looking to confirm if Roger's has shut off the NNTP access today or not.
I know its coming, just looking for when they "actually" do it, cause I'm on vacation in a few days and won't need it. Don't want to move to easynews any ealier then needed. |

It is currently working. I am not sure when it will be shut off, but they should at least wait until midnight tonight to be reasonable. Not that they will be reasonable, but they should be.

| i have been downloading some ebooks and audio books all day from ng. it's still working here.. i guess at 12mignight we will find out, (or some of us in the morning HEHE). |

Yup. I'm home now (friggin snow and dumb lady in little black car that hit me).
I'm doing some last min downloading, then tomorrow I will have to look a pay services. |

First we complain that Rogers is removing newsgroup access. Now we're complaining that they're not removing access fast enough. LOL!  |

| My news client is now asking for authentication and when I try my Rogers user id etc, it tells me I am not authorized. |
