Following Rogers' example awhile back, LOOK Communications no longer provides news.look.ca as a connection to Giganews.
No announcement, of course. Just a Feb 1 cutoff. I told the CSR of my displeasure about both the discontinuation and how it was done. Too bad I'm not in a position to take my business elsewhere.
I maintain a backup Easynews account from some time ago when Look's service was more sporadic, so I know there are alternatives. Guess my monthly costs will be going up. |

It sucks
I'm leaving DSL/Look.ca for sure.
I'll look for other DSL provider which is cheaper per month without newsgroup, such as 3-web, or will look for other DSL provider that has newsgroup service.
Do anybody know other good DSL provider that will support giganews?
Thanks. |
